The fabulous Queen of Exploitation, Doris Wishman, is back. A Night to Dismember is a horror film that approximates the twisted logic of a narcotic laced carnal nightmare. It's a jaw-dropping spectacle only Wishman could conceive. The film stars hardcore legend Samantha Fox, in her only, uh - legitimate role.
Doris Wishman is a one woman gang who wrote, produced, directed and edited her films in a career spanning four decades. She revisited the courtship of the major studios early on, and the suppressing conventions of mainstream culture and easy critical classification throughout, to produce one of the more idiosyncratic world views ever committed to film.

An exercise in self abuse - 2.75 out of 5 (11/13/2001)
Through all of the history of film, there have been the classics and there
have been the fringe dwellers. There have also been the sleaze merchants who
didn't care so much about art and were just looking to make a buck doing
whatever happened to be the fad at the time.
Now, when I use the term sleaze merchants, I do so fondly because I have a
certain respect for people who want to give the people what they want, even
if we are not willing to admit it.

Audio commentary by Doris Wishman is priceless! - 3.5 out of 5 (3/2/2002)
Fans of Doris Wishman movies will love the audio commentary on this DVD. She makes alot of comments about her other films too. Doris herself is as unique has her movies. She is so whitty and entertaining that you will never want to watch the movie without the commentary.
